Logan and I met not far from our venue in Deadwood, SD! What was supposed to be just a casual supper first date turned into a whole 3-day weekend full of fun and laughter! We played tourist around Deadwood, tried our luck at an Escape Room, and played bingo at Midnight Star! (We almost even had someone get ordained to marry us on the second day LOL) This photo is from a photo booth in Saloon 10 the night of our first date!
The following weekend after our first date we traveled SEVEN hours together to a Kip Moore concert in the cities! There was never a dull moment the entire trip. I even tested his patience for the first time by losing my key fob and having to spend a few more hours in the cities than planned to get a new one programmed!
Just 3 weeks after our first date (when you know you know) Logan “asked” me to be his girlfriend at his friend’s wedding. His words were “everyone keeps asking if we’re dating so I’m just going to tell them we are”, so you can decide if that was an actual question ;)
Logan and I spent SO much time on the lake with family and friends this summer! We also got to spend a few weekends camping in our little camper we bought! From golfing to date nights, and everything in between, Logan made sure it was the best summer by far!
Logan pulled off the ultimate surprise. While we were hiking, we stopped by a creek in the valley where his dad’s ashes were spread (I didn’t know this at the time.) We had just got done setting up my camera (I was ‘vlogging’ the whole trip) when Logan started his speech and digging in his pocket. I wish I could tell you what he said to me but I totally blacked out! 😂 He knelt down on a knee and after a few seconds of me bawling my eyes out, I said, “a million times YES”! And then he pointed out the secret photographer that had been “stalking” us through the woods the whole time!
